Cooperation is an essential part for the functionality and development of human society, especially nowadays indicating that interconnectedness between individuals and disciplines brings more comprehensive solutions to current needs and various problems. The exhibition Pass it on! Aspects of collaboration in the work of UMPRUM students, shows aspects of cooperation in regards to creating and proving the power of sharing and mutual assistance.

The exhibition Pass it on! compared to other large UMPRUM biennials goes beyond others from the past. For the first time, the exhibition will be presented outside the capital city of Prague, in the spaces of the Masné krámy Exhibition hall in the Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The second novelty is the theme of the exhibition - Cooperation. The collection of works is not only a selection of the best that the students of the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design have created, but it is connected by cooperation at various levels.

Through selected works and their contextualization, the exhibition seeks to critically look at various aspects of collaboration in the school environment and reflect the unique position of the artist/designer in the creative process. Cooperation is seen as a network of relationships, links, and causalities, whether it is with manufacturers, technology, clients, educators or other co-creators. Pass it on! is a metaphor for external instruction, but also of the internal will to cooperate. While this may not in itself guarantee a good result, it offers a starting point for creative disciplines to transcend disciplinary constraints.
The interconnectedness and the network of ties are also captured in the architectural design and graphic visualization of the exhibition referring to a kind of map or game plan. Various building materials were used for the installation, which can be fully utilized after the installation has been deinstalled.
Cooperation is not just about creation, but about an overall approach to life, sharing, and sustainable behavior.
